The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wealthsimple
Interview
There was a 3 round interview process for the portfolio manager role:
1. Initial screen with hiring manager.
2. Case study preparation and presentation.
3. Final interview with Team lead/Director.
You have a dedicated recruiter from Wealthsimple to navigate you throughout the interview process.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wealthsimple (Toronto, ON) in June 2019
Interview
Very thorough and friendly. The interview was collaborative and took into account technical as well as behaviour aspects of the role. I felt that the hiring team was interested in making sure this was a good fit for me as much as it was for them. The culture of feedback was demonstrated throughout the process.

Interview
Phone Interview, Case Study, In-Person interviews. Didn't make it to the in-person interview. Case Study was over the phone. It was a financial planning case - similar to what may be on a PFP/CFP exam but not really any questions, just broad eg. what would you do?

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Wealthsimple, Case study questions, very broad financial knowledge questions
