Seems like a nice place and the environment looks as if it's casual and laid back compared to the other places.
If you're looking at the reviews to see what it'll be like working here let me tell you.
Thought it seemed like a good place to work as I've heard so many great things so I applied for a cook's position. An interview was scheduled and when I arrived and sat down with the recruiter he started with the position I'm interviewing for has already been filled.
Yeah, that’s a bait-and-switch. They’re really common.
Was then told that their position was available in the seafood or meat department interacting with customers. Not cool in the sense that I made the time to come for a position I was interested in and felt as if I was trying to be bamboozled by a used car salesman.
When asked how much I wanted to be paid I gave them my number and stuck with it. And if you know the difference between the different cuts of meat, and fish on top of interacting with customers, being in the restaurant industry, and being ServSafe certified we should know our worth.
My interaction with this internal recruiter and how the process of this interview went was my first interaction and impression of what it would be like working here.
To me, it feels like they would continue to do this kind of thing even if you were a fit for another one of their positions. A well-put-together company would have the decency to tell you the job was filled before the interview time.
