I met the director at a job fair, and he tried to heavily advertise the company's Automation Launchpad Program with the expectation that they would train you to work at the company. I was informed that there were 7 positions available throughout all of Canada.
There are 3 main rounds:
- First round: I needed to come to the office in Markham in person to do an exam generated from ChatGPT (Topics are Leetcode algorithms, PLC Design, Subnet, Network, Logical Thinking with trick questions, Simple Circuit).
- Second round: I met with 3 people virtually, including the director, for a behavioural interview.
- Third round: I met with 4 people in person at the Markham office, which was another behavioural interview.
I got rejected a month later since they considered 7 positions one by one sequentially. Then I got contacted back to another role that they said would be perfect for me, and I met the director to discuss the responsibilities of the role, which were very vague and obscure. The director oversold the promise to send an offer after a week, and I got led on by his words. However, I got no contact back for 3-4 weeks, and when I tried to reach out to the admin, the director, or even the office by phone and email for an update, I got ghosted and deliberately ignored by the admin and the director himself. They dragged the whole process out over 3 months and required you to travel wherever they requested. Very unprofessional in terms of communication and has no respect for candidates' time and effort. Even if you live in Kingston, you need to travel to Markham for the interviews.
