I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Western Heritage Insurance (Scottsdale, AZ) in June 2014
Interview
I was approached by a head hunter about the job. After initial phone interviews with the head hunter, the internal recruiter and the hiring manager, I was invited in for a 3 hour interview with 7 members of the senior management team. I was interviewed by two managers at a time then by the hiring manager by himself.

Question 1
They asked about how I deal with difficult associates.
I applied online. I interviewed at Western Heritage Insurance (Scottsdale, AZ)
Interview
Panel Interview, over 2 hours long, different people joining/leaving the panel during the whole interview. Was very awkward. No one offered a handshake, before or after. No one offered their business cards, names or titles. Panelist who asked most of the questions had a very thick accent and was difficult to understand and was a horrible interviewer.
Candidate they hired for this position didn't last 6 months.

Question 1
Not a single question about underwriting, all behavioral questions. How about a mix of both so you can be sure the candidate actually knows how to underwrite? I had been working with this company for years and knew all their forms and guidelines but they never asked anything that would give them this information. I would have been ready to work with very little training, seems like an important detail to miss.
