This doesn't surprise me. MD talks AT people even clients. Never listens and isnt in the office ever or very rarely doesn't ask staff how's things going or wants to help them. The MD isnt very good at listening but follows his own agenda which is secretive. Clients have complained that they are talked down to and told how to run their businesses. Sorry your interview went badly and they used your ideas for free.
