Applied online. Chat couple times with HR through email and was asked to have a face interview using skype. Went on-site interview for 4.5 hours and 5 persons were interviewed me. One of the session was dual interview. Not to forget, company facility was OK, short cubical.
All the people who interviewed me were either Sr QA Engineer or Sr QA Automation Engineer that include UI and backed.
First was fine. I think I would enjoy working with both of them. Simple linux commands were asked. Second session, the lady were asking QA methology, so wasn't that bad at all but drama, believe me. Third session was a Sr QA Engineer coming to the room and asking me to do some code and again linux command line. Forth, again asking me some simple linux command and SQL, and Fifth, the same thing again.
So, what I found, they were not professionally dressed and lacked of preparation to do interview process. I don't want to mention what they worn here :) . If i remembered correctly, there was a Junior QA asking a sql statement to get the same record from 2 different table. Basically, he said you could do anything as long as you got this result. I did it perfectly fine then couple mins later "No, u are missing a key word". So I asked what it was. "Missing JOIN". I told "I wasn't trying to do with Join" :) . Believe me that was the simplest question i was ever asked and there would me lot of way to do it :). Anyway. Now the last guy who was, I believe a Sr QA, looked pretty saggy and pretty not happy when he walked in (still don't know why :) ) . So, he was asking about Selenium Automation. He was the one argue with me why would someone run selenium in a linux box and he didn't see any benefit here at all ( ???? wat ~~~ ). So, pretty lack of "stuff" on their end to talk to me. By the second session, I didn't feel any motivation to answer or to continue any further.
Luckily I never have a chance to work with them, I would say :)
P/S : QA folks, be prepared to do some simple coding and expect those above ...
