I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Whitepages (Seattle, WA) in July 2012
Interview
A very polite and nice recruiter from the company emails me at first, very positive experience with her. She calls to discuss the company let you know about the website and the company. From there my Resume was submitted to the Hiring manager, a few days later i got a call from the recruiter to setup a phone call with the Hiring manager. The hiring manager was about 5 minutes late to the interview call. I was told to be near a computer for the call with the hiring manager, however it was never used. The recruiter suggested that i might want to be near it for using google docs or something during the interview, it was never used. The Hiring manager was very nice, and did ask a few probing questions. After that the recruiter set me up with a phone call with the HR director. The HR director was about 5 minutes late calling me as well. After speaking with the HR director and asking about the negative comments on glassdoor i received a rejection on here. It wasn't too unexpected, because i had decided not to continue further anyways due to the negative comments from past employees on here. Overall i was treated nicely by the staff, but then again i wasn't on the receiving end of one of their sudden terminations. If you really want to work here don't bring up their reviews on here directly or quote how much you currently earn, it may be more then they want to pay.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
A lot of behavioral interviewing questions, borderline too many. The worst of them was: Tell me a time when you had negative feedback and how you handled it? Then follow up to that with what happened next and how did the situation get resolved.
