Whitespectre interview questions

Applied and then got a message saying I was a poor fit but that they would speak to me anyway. Which was bizarre...but I went with it Interviewer (Head of People and Culture) was visibly unfriendly, cold and distant. Like she didn't like me from the outset. Interview went well enough I thought despite the above. My preferred work culture was, she said, exactly how they like to work. This all felt promising. Few days later I was rejected by email saying "poor fit" using a cut-and-paste of the wording used in her original email. I asked for specifics on where I fell down, and was told that they don't give out feedback to all candidates. I am not all candidates. I am one that they interviewed. Overall one of the worst interview experiences I have had. Dodged a bullet there I think.

The interview process was nice and straightforward. First I had an interview with HR to talk about the company culture and the role I was applying to. After that, I had a technical interview with two engineers, it was challenging but yet very accurate with the job and the engineers showed a lot of domain about the subjects they were asking. The third step was an interview with the COO, it was a pleasant conversation to align expectations about the company and myself. The last interview was with the CEO, also a very pleasant conversation where we talked about software architecture and system design. Each step had a clear goal and it was a great experience.
