The hiring process mainly focused on your English speaking competency. If you are a graduate student, and have a good standing in your program, you can apply for a TA position in the department. Your English speaking skills will be evaluated by TOEFL speaking score or TSE score. The benchmark for both are respectively 23 and 50. In addition, prior knowledge of the subject is very important to get hired.
