When I was told about the interview, all I received was a phone call asking when I was free and then being told the time and date. No email or message to confirm or use as receipt and thankfully I put it in my calendar right away.
The colleagues seemed friendly and accommodating, offer me a drink but when I began the interview, the manager told me I can relax and they're just getting to know me only to turn around and start asking difficult questions such as weaknesses, incapability etc.
I didn't feel too bad though so I left feeling confident only to get an email 4 hours later that I wasn't successful. I was shocked to receive this response so soon, especially when the manager told me they still had 2 weeks left of interviews to go through so I looked up why and it may be because they already made up their mind.
To waste not just mine but an entire 2 weeks of people's time for interviews you already likely wouldn't accept is disrespectful in my opinion and then to receive emails every month saying I was unsuccessful even after the first is just salt in the wound.
Process was straightforward. Interview with manager who asked me several questions regarding my prior experience and my availability. Overall, very simple and easy going. I did not need to prep much.
