There were three initial stages of the application process to be followed up by followup interviews. The first steps included:

Can you provide an example of a time when you worked on a project with collaborators who did not come from a fundraising background?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wild Animal Initiative (New York, NY) in July 2023
Interview
It is very similar to other Effective Altruism (EA) organizations. There is a phone screening (30 min), then a 3 hour timed work test, then a one-hour follow up interview, and then a reference check.
