I applied through university. I interviewed at William Blair (Chicago, IL)
Interview
easy and straight forward, no trick questions and with good follow up by Blair. Talked with about 7 people, all very nice and seemed happy to be working at the firm. Seemed like a very educated crowd. Midwest nice but smart and well informed.
Applied online and had a first-round interview via Teams. Discussion focused on background and fit, motivation for investment banking and the firm, and role-specific questions. Interviewer was friendly and supportive throughout.
it was overall pretty smooth. People are really nice and welcoming. They want to see you do well by all means. It is a good company but had growing pains during covid.
