The interview process is extremely one-sided. I was asked to do a video interview and then interviewed panel-style for two hours. This is the second time I've interviewed with Williams. I had very little time to ask questions, and the interview questions were very structured, situational and rapid fire. We never discussed salary. The first time I interviewed with Williams, I heard back after about two weeks. I was told I'd hear back the following week for this one. I followed up at the one-week mark, and now it's been a month with no response. I guess it's possible my point of contact is no longer there if there were COVID-19 layoffs, but the interview process was the nail in the coffin on my interest in Williams, I think. I've wasted probably 6-8 hours in interviews over the past year, and despite giant staff of HR coordinators, etc., the fact that no one can even get back to me with a 'no' is all the information I need. If I'm invited to interview again, I plan on declining. I've had some hesitations about Williams' culture, and this interview gave me a glimpse that my assumptions may be correct.
