WithMe, Inc advertises its roles as 100% remote; however, during the interview process it became clear that there is a preference for candidates to be located within the specific market they support. This distinction was not clearly outlined upfront and may benefit from greater transparency in the job description.
The interview process felt somewhat disjointed, with evolving expectations communicated at different stages. Clearer alignment and consistency in messaging would improve the overall candidate experience.
While some members of the team were professional, kind, and helpful throughout the process, other interactions felt more distant and less communicative, which contributed to the overall lack of clarity.

Interview
As you will read here on Glassdoor, WithMe will conduct at least four interviews. I felt very positive about all four interviews. I was also asked to prepare a slide presentation on their products. The hiring manager complimented me on my presentation - more than once. I was therefore surprised when I was informed I was not selected. The reasons were strange (to me) and made no sense, as neither reason would prohibit me from performing the essential functions of the job. Chock this one up to experience, I guess.

Interview
Did not make it past the initial recruiter phone call. And the call itself was very uninformative. She gave no description of the position or the day to day which made answering questions in a way that would make sense to this company vs a different type of company, very difficult. I’ve never experienced a recruiter who is not forthcoming about the position, company or share even a bit of its background. I would not have accepted another interview even if it was offered.
