I completed an initial recruiter screen for the Associate Director role and was then invited to a panel interview with members of the team. The panel itself was thoughtful and substantive, with questions focused on communications strategy, leadership style, narrative work, and managing competing priorities. However, the follow-up process was poor. After investing significant time in preparation and engaging seriously with the process, I did not receive a clear outcome or timely communication. For a communications and advocacy organization, the lack of candidate communication was disappointing and undermined the professionalism of the overall experience.
