      Project Manager Interview

      5 June 2018
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WorkStride (New York, NY) in Apr 2018

      Interview

I applied for the job on LinkedIn and quickly heard back on setting up a phone interview. First phone interview was with HR with it being equal parts about my background/goals and about the company too. Second phone interview was with the hiring manager, which delved more into my work experience and the specifics of the role. After the second interview I was contacted that same day to come in to the office for an in person interview. On site, I had four 1 on 1 "interviews" which were very relaxed and conversational. They did not have the stress of a normal interview at all, and everyone I met with was very friendly and welcoming. From the interviews, I could definitely tell the people I met with really did enjoy their jobs and being a part of WorkStride. It also stood out to me that I was able to spend time with the CEO Jim Hemmer. You don't often get to meet with the CEO of a company during the interview process. I walked out of the building completely convinced WorkStride was the company I wanted to join. I heard back within a few days after that about moving forward with a background and reference check. I received my formal offer later that week. The whole process moved very quickly and efficiently, and I always received email replies very promptly.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me about how/why I became a project manager, how I handle working with clients, and do I like being entrepreneurial/independent in my work.

      Project Manager Interview

      25 Apr 2018
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WorkStride (New York, NY) in Mar 2018

      Interview

The interview process was very easy. WorkStride has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. I met with individuals from multiple levels within the organization, including a peer. The interviews were conversational instead of a Q&A which was great. I interviewed while they were having an office celebration (at lunch time) and the HR Manager even saved me a slice of pizza. All in all it was a great experience!
