I was working for World Vision International in the Monrovia, CA office when I interviewed for this role, which I ultimately received. It was made very clear to me during the interview process by both the recruiter and my future boss that I would be required to relocate to the DC World Vision office, at my own expense. After my first month, my boss stopped coming into the office and from then on I worked from home 90% of the time. For example, I went into the office 5 days between June, July, and August.
Process wise, it was very straightforward. I received a message from a recruiter asking me if I'd be interested. From there I had one interview with a different recruiter, then one with my boss, then I received an offer. The whole thing took about 3 weeks.
