I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WorldAware (Summit, NJ) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was a neutral. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get the position but hopefully this helps someone else who is interested in the role. I actually applied online straight through Glassdoor. About a week later, I received an email from an HR representative asking to set up a time for an initial phone interview. The HR representative was nice and asked basic questions about qualifications. She mostly talked about what the position was and what to expect from the job. At the end of the interview, she said she would forward my resume to the hiring manager. About 4 days later, I received another email from HR stating that the hiring manager would like to set up a phone interview with me. It was a pretty normal interview. He asked about how I got my news among other position related topics. My interview was interrupted several times because the manager was a little busy taking other phone calls which I understood but it kind of threw me off a bit. At the end of the interview, the manager told me he would ask HR to send me a writing assessment to complete and that I would have a follow-up interview that same week. He gave good feedback during that second interview so I felt pretty hopeful and confident that I was going to get the position but after that last phone interview, all email communication stopped. Even after I sent the assessment, the manager never called for the follow up interview even though HR confirmed that he would. Five days after the scheduled third interview, I received a phone call stating that they have decided to go with another candidate. Maybe I said the wrong things during the interview but I will write the all of the interviews questions below as I was taking notes from the interviews. I hope these help you! I also distinguished both sets of interviews. The first half is the initial interview with HR and the second half is the second interview that I had with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, there wasn't a third interview for me but from what HR told me, it was supposed to be a discussion about my writing assessment. Each interview lasted about 20-30mins long. Good luck on your job search! From experience, I know it can be hard but you got this!

Question 1
HR:
What trait makes you the best candidate for this position?
Manager:
Do you have experience using social media to obtain the news? If so, tell me an experience in which you saw a breaking news topic on social media and then proceeded to try to find out more about the topic?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WorldAware
Interview
Submit resume and answers list of basic questions on their website
Heard back from the hiring manager a few days later, indicating interest and requesting for answer to a long list of personal questions (salary expectations, reasons for interest in jobs, reasons why I think I’ll be a good fit etc) via email
Passed recruiter screening and was scheduled for another screening via phone call. it only lasted for a minute, no questions asked and was informed that I’ll be passed on to the team head for another phone interview a week later.
Second phone interview was with the entire team and not just the team head. Lasted for about an hour and was fired with questions that required a lot of quick thinking. It was evident that my resume or early responses to hiring manager’s questions were not read by them. Was told I’ll be given a response two weeks later before it ended.
No response two and a half weeks later so I followed up with the hiring manager and was told that the team is still having a discussion and I will be informed when a decision has been made. Emailed them about a month later and still no response since.
I understand that not all candidates are suitable for the job, but I think it doesn’t hurt to inform them that they were unsuccessful in their application, or to let them know what they can work on for their other job applications and interviews.

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at WorldAware (Singapore) in July 2019
Interview
It took 4-8 weeks for the entire process to be complete. They were more or less prompt and stayed mostly in touch once the interview process began. The recruiters that were part of the company made the entire process smooth. It will start with a questionnaire via email and then a phone screening. If you’re shortlisted, the interview process will begin. There were phone interviews as well as formal and informal tests.
