I had a phone interview and then a week later a video interview. I did exceedingly well in both. I was told to wait a week as my resume needed to be approved by the government (not sure that actually happened). I didn’t feel the follow up was great as I had to contact them several times asking for a follow up interview. She said she would follow up and didn’t and when I did she claim she didn’t have my email to follow up and then said she emailed me telling me she didn’t have my email. Huh? I followed up a few times with multiples people before getting a response back telling me I was not qualified in doing research. I legit have a PhD, the position required a masters. I have conducted my own research study, and I have a published dissertation in addition I had over 15 years of experience the role required 10. It was a turn off as I am African American and I did an video interview and I felt the interview was bias to the point that I felt I knew more about the VA healthcare system then those interviewing me but was called unqualified Take it for what you will. I wasn’t hired for a job I have literally served as a subject matter expert for in previous positions. I also Out degree the position and have more years experience. So idk.
