I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Worthy Insurance (Skokie, IL) in Mar 2025
Interview
There were two rounds. Phone screen with Director of HR and a video call with Director of Operations. Both interviewers were over 5 minutes late despite having few applicants (pulse check on their attention to detail).
Even on the phone screen, there were tacky questions like "Why should I hire you?" Maybe because it's an entry-level job for $50k and I have a P&C license, degree, and experience.
There was no winning the second call. After she joined late, visibly distracted and blaming HR for putting this on her calendar at the last minute, she rambled about irrelevant company details for a few minutes then abruptly asked, "So, what questions do you have for me?"
Maybe have someone relevant to this role speak with candidates instead of high and mighty "directors" who don't even interface with clients.
P.S. These positive reviews reek of fake posts from management.
Phone interview with human resources, interview with owner. Offer letter sent within a week of interview with owner. Simple, easy and respectful process. Never felt belittling or disrespectful like some in the industry do.
Easy interview process. Only spoke to a few people and questions were basic. They moved pretty quickly which was nice. Seemed like they really needed people to fill their office.
