I interviewed on the phone for the role, went well. Before I went up for my in-person, I was warned to steer clear because of the high turnover and bad Glassdoor reviews. I went in and interviewed with the team, it seemed like it went well, there was a lot of laughter and it did not feel like an interview. However, it did feel rushed. I was supposed to meet with the CMO, but I was told he had a conflict and that I would have a Zoom call with him in the next few days. That never happened, I sent follow up emails and the response I got said the skillset didn't match what the team is looking for. Ok, fine. Give me a little more than that, give actually feedback. Also, when trying to sell the position and the company. Don't tell me you guys bought fake followers on Facebook, probably not the best thing to reveal in an interview. The whole process felt like I was chasing the recruiter for information and it felt like I was being strung along. Live and learn and move forward.
