Their business model relies on renting their hired employees to their clients and taking a share of your salary. This model of course results in them hiring aggressively while paying you less. They also include an €18k clause in your contract for the cost of training they'll give you. If you terminate your contract before the end date, you are obliged to pay this amount. Regarding the recruitment process, it was fast paced. I went through two steps. The first step was a video call with HR, who was very professional, friendly and helpful. Then they sent a one-week case study, which I enjoyed working on. The second step was an interview with a senior engineer and the managing director. You present your case study to the senior engineer who mostly focuses on your level of domain experience and your approach to the case study. He was easy to get along with and I really enjoyed chatting with him. He was really friendly and I felt no pressure during my case presentation. The managing director focuses on your soft skills, past projects and roles. I can't (and will never) speak well of him whose main responsibility is finding a client for you (which he never does IMO) Over three months, he arranged only one client meeting for me and rarely (almost never) communicated with me or provided updates. Two weeks before my relocation and start date, with no updates, I texted him to tell I'm going to deliver my resignation letter to my current employer. In response, he postponed my start date by a month, putting me in a tough position with my current employer. Fortunately, my employer allowed me to delay my resignation. After the postponement, we (with my wife) received our MVVs and everything was progressing smoothly on our end in terms of relocation. By the way, my contract duration was reduced from 13 months to 12. I received no updates for the next month, again. After some time I emailed him again, and he informed me that he couldn't find clients for me and wanted to terminate my contract. This left me unemployed, as my employer had already filled my position with another candidate. Now I've been searching for jobs every day for the last 1 month. Thank you! Adding to this, I have to say that his conduct was really unprofessional. Because he acts like he can control, manage and judge you as he likes since he shamelessly dares to judge and comment on your physical appearance by hiding behind the "Dutch directness". It was really humiliating, unethical and unacceptable. We're living in 2024 and I believe putting on a suit every day doesn't make you professional, you have to act professional as well. The comments on this page for the company were really positive and I'd never expect experiencing these during the 3 months period. Maybe they pay people to write positive comments for them and promote them. Anyway, thank you for making my and my wife's life a mess and leaving us with all of this misery and stress.
