The HR/in-house recruiter was incredibly personable and great to speak with, not to mention excellent and timely in handling all steps of the interview process. She really took the time to get to know my background, style, and qualities. Such a breath of fresh air compared to other recruiters out there who simply read off the boilerplate check list of average deal size, average sales cycle, quota attainment stats.
The hiring manager was terrific as well. He gave me a very precise and realistic look at the role and fostered a positive mutual discussion in evaluating my fit.
Third round was a dual interview by the CEO and the President. Both very sharp guys. What stood out was how they mapped out company growth progress among their key customer segments with strategy for each- covering past, current, and future planned states.
Ultimately I didn’t get the offer. I think they went with someone with more lab-specific industry customer experience. But the whole interview process was one of the most respectful, professional, and relevant ones that I’ve seen.
I think I really would have enjoyed working here!
