I applied online. I interviewed at Yard House (Las Vegas, NV) in June 2026
Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at the Yard House location in Summerlin as well as the location at the Linq and the entire process was a massive waste of time. I showed up looking sharp, answered every question professionally, and handled the interview entirely by the book. The manager seemed highly impressed, explicitly praising my interview skills and giving me fantastic feedback on how well I presented myself.
After waiting to hear back, I found out they are "moving forward with other candidates." It’s incredibly obvious that they are just running people through fake, performative interviews to hit a corporate quota when they already have their internal transfers or preferred candidates lined up.
It is completely disrespectful and slimy to make job seekers dress up, travel, and invest real energy into a process when the decision has already been made behind closed doors. If the position isn't genuinely open to external talent, don't waste our time and gas money. Unprofessional and deeply disappointing.

Interview
Very casual with the assistant manager, Very Pleasant, explained my qualifications, seemed receptive and then informed me that the GM would need to interview me and not available. Was told I would get a email to schedule the next interview.
