Very rigorous requiring several interviews and a ride day. Each interview is with a different executive leader in each department. Safety is key and a huge talking point in every interview. The ride day consists of riding with a route sales rep to understand what the employees do every day.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Yelloh in Aug 2021
Interview
Applied online for a Route Sales Supervisor and received a call from HR on a Friday at 5PM. The HR rep told me the position was about to be filled then asked if I was interested in a Route Sales Representative position. I said no but she insisted I learn more so I said ok and she let me know someone would call me Monday so I could "learn more" about the role. On Monday a new HR rep calls to interview me for the Route Sales Supervisor position which they told me Friday was essentially filled. He asked me a few questions and then he told me the Zone Manager would be reaching out to me. On Wednesday, a Route Sales Supervisor reaches out to set up an interview for an Area Manager role. I drove 2 hours for the interview and I thought it went well. They said the next step was to do a ride along with a Route Sales Representative which I didnt think made much sense and I was to call the Zone Manager Monday after I took the weekend to think about it. I called the Zone Manager Monday morning and he was confused because he thought I was interviewing for the Route Sales Representative. He said I would have to do 4 more interviews to get an offer. Everyone I talked to thought I was interviewing for a different position. They are SO disorganized - I told the Manager to forget it.

Interview
Went through 5 phone interviews, each lasting a minimum of an hour, plus an entire day of shadowing. Was really excited about the job and was told that there was 1 interview left. Before the last interview was scheduled they sent me an email hoping me the best of luck on my search. I reached out to them for an explanation but was never called back. The questions were not difficult but the process was excessively long and demanding, especially considering the pay level.
