I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Yext in Apr 2020
Interview
My interviewer sent me the link to a coding problem where she could see what I was typing as I was typing it. The problem first started out with a description of the problem and a few test cases/examples. Then I was told to start coding the solution to the problem. As I was typing, I was explaining what I was doing and towards the end she gave me feedback on my solution.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What does using "object1 = object2" really do to the data structure in Python?
For the Yext Software Engineering Internship, the first round interview was a technical Interview with one debugging question and one leet code style programming question, plus the opportunity to ask questions at the end. Second-round interviews are usually behavioral.
I just did the first round but it was a first round technical and then more after. I think it is technical, then another 2 technicals and then behavioral final.
Very chill, interviewers were helpful, 2 technicals and a behavioral. The first round was 2 problems, one leetcode and one debugging. The second round was one problem, the third round was behavioral.
