Two technical rounds , one Hiring Manager round.
First two rounds were coding. Hiring Manager round was face to face. Office had around 300 people. They said the reason for not selecting me is that I did not know about the AI part of the software they were creating.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Yubi (Bengaluru) in June 2025
Interview
Round 1 – Coding Interview
The first round involved a medium-difficulty coding problem. The interviewer was supportive and engaging throughout, which made for a positive experience.
Round 2 – System Design Interview
In the second round, I was asked to design a generic LRU cache. I provided modular, fully functional code adhering to best practices. Despite this, I was not selected and received no feedback following the interview.
It would be greatly appreciated if the interview panel could offer feedback, particularly in technical rounds to support candidate learning and improvement. Many applicants, like myself, invest considerable effort, and constructive feedback enhances both candidate experience and employer reputation.

2) Design Generic LRU cache
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yubi (Bengaluru) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview has 4 rounds - 2 Technical, 1 Hiring Manager, and 1 HR round. The technical rounds were pretty easy. For the first round, I was asked questions about DSA, Java, Spring Boot, etc. The second round was based on HLD, LLD, and a few puzzles. The interviewer for the second round was a bit confused and not concise in describing the problem. The third round was the Hiring Manager, which was mostly an open discussion. It went well.
However, the trauma began with the HR round. The HR somehow assumed that I was laid off and decided not to proceed with my candidature. This felt more like a gimmick to reject, mainly because of salary expectations. I was expecting a 35% hike, but they wanted to offer nothing more than 20%, and so they decided to ghost me after that call completely.
I tried reaching the recruiter, too, but he didn't pick up the call. There was also no official email from them. It was very unprofessional on their end. Mind you, this was all happening after they asked for my salary slips, PAN card, and appraisal letter.
