3 step process. I met a manager in the field for an initial interview and then to Pottsville for final 2 interviews. I have interviewed twice with this company and both times the process was the same. Each interview had Wendy Yuengling, the HR manager, a 2-3 managers, typically the supervisor for the region. Standard questions, usually 1 hour in length. A few complaints. The first time the interview took place a few days before July 4th. Their entire management team for that area was brought in for the interview. You had to wonder what company would be interviewing during July 4th week with no chance to reschedule. Should you be selling beer that week? They also didn't pay for your travel to Pottsville. The second interview they at least paid for travel at a standard rate. Most upsetting about the entire process, besides them selecting someone else with lesser experience and qualifications, was that no one contacted you about their decision. A 3 month process, 3 interviews (2 of them in Pottsville), you being 1 of 2 final candidates and they don't have the professionalism or respect to tell you they selected someone else? I would figure that is what the HR person is there for but I also should have heard it from the manager who did the initial interview. It is a small industry and we all run into each other at different events. It makes for awkward situations when you don't do the right thing. I lost total respect for the managers involved with the process and with the company itself because of this one flaw.
