I got a phonecall from the company asking if I'd be interested in a position that they had. I had never heard of the company and was a bit apprehensive as I wasn't sure how they got my CV. I was also pregnant and knew I wouldn't be able to start a new job anytime soon. Informed them of this and they said they'd call me back. I didn't hear from them for another 2 to 3 weeks so I just assumed they weren't interested because I wasn't available to start immediately. I eventually got a call back for a meeting with the Managing Director. Did my research and it was a media company invilved with a lot of big projects that I had watched so was defintely interested. Office was small but the people were very friendly. Met with the MD for an informal chat and he told me what role they were looking for, how he got my CV, etc and he still seemed interested despite me being more or less ready to go on maternity leave. It was an informal chat and we ended it with me asking for a detailed job description to decide if it was a role I'd be interested in or could even do. I was sent the job description which was extremly detailed. Did more research on the company, research on the role and prepared questions for our next meeting. Had a follow up and this time more thorough interview with the Managing Director.
