When I left, I ran into someone with inside knowledge of the hiring for that role. His friend was offered the job two days prior. I was just a fake interview for show. I thought. I still sent a thank you note and was ghosted anyway. Saw that they had posted another job ad months later. So went over to inquire. Was treated like total garbage. Which just confirmed that my interview months prior, which they came to me for, was completely fake.
