      Application

I interviewed at Zealthy (NY )

      Interview

The interview process began with an initial screening call from a recruiter. During this round, the recruiter conducted a technical discussion covering my experience, core skills, and previous projects. They also explained the overall interview structure and expectations for the next stages. In the second round, I was given a practical assignment to design and build a telehealth care assessment solution. This round focused on problem-solving ability, application architecture, and implementation approach. The third and final round was an onsite interview with the hiring manager. This round primarily focused on system design concepts. I was asked to design scalable systems, explain architectural decisions, discuss trade-offs, and demonstrate my understanding of high-level design principles.

      Question 1

In the final onsite round, the hiring manager focused on system design and asked how I would architect a telehealth platform that could handle patient assessments, manage user data securely, and scale efficiently. The discussion included: Designing high-level architecture (frontend, backend, database, APIs) Handling authentication and data security (especially for healthcare data) Ensuring scalability and reliability Making design trade-offs and explaining technology choices

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Zealthy (NY ) (New York, NY)

      Interview

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Interview Process: 1. Take-home assessment 2. In-person interview 3. Mini trial project (1 day, 1 ticket, paid $100) However, your work doesn't actually end after one day. If bugs are found during testing, or if your ticket depends on another developer's work, you're expected to continue working until the ticket is fully deployed. This can easily extend to a week or more. 4. Work trial (4 days onsite, paid $400, 4-5 tickets) Similarly, although it's presented as a 4-day trial, you're expected to keep working remotely until all assigned tickets are completed, tested, and deployed. In some cases, this process can drag on for several weeks or even over a month. The company states that they will evaluate your performance only after your tickets have been fully completed and deployed. In my opinion, if they genuinely wanted to assess a candidate's skills, the initial 5 days of paid trial work would be more than sufficient. Instead, the process felt like they were using candidates to complete real project work at a significantly lower cost. And they don't eventually hire anyone unless someone leaves the company because the majority stay there a max of few months to a year.
