I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Zebra Strategies (New York, NY)
Interview
There were 4 interviews total which took place over a month. Given that it was a new position, it made sense to meet with the team. I was offered a position and asked a few specific questions regarding how hours would be decided, and negotiated salary (all normal questions!), and questioned the availability of benefits as it was listed in the job description when I applied. Given the labor market, I have seen many companies offer benefits to part-time positions, so it wasn't something that threw up a red flag until it was discussed at my third interview.
After waiting a week for a response, they ended up rescinding the offer, stating that they decided to go in a different direction. I saw they updated the job description to reflect that they won't be offering benefits. I have never heard of a company rescinding a job offer due to a conversation about an offer and honestly find it to be incredibly unprofessional.

Question 1
If offered the position, what would you do first? Role-playing providing negative feedback to employee.
The process was fair, thorough and this seems like a very competent company. I had two interviews and I'm hoping to have a third interview if considered for the position.
