Interview
I had an initial call with HR and then followed by a phone interview in a week. In the phone call itself, was immediately confirmed for an onsite interview scheduled after 20 days. I was thoroughly grilled in the interview more than required for the position. I answered all of the questions but I was not selected without any reason. My time was unnecessarily wasted in the process.
Submitted online, got a call from HR then followed by a call from hiring manager. An onsite interview was arranged after two weeks. The whole process took about a month. During the onsite, I had the opportunity to talk separately with the hiring manager, product owner and other algorithm engineers. The onsite lasted three hours and was wrapped up with a quick facility tour. For me, some engineers seemed to be arrogant and not knowledgeable enough to ask proper questions. As told, the final hiring decision was utterly based on their feedback which is quite problematic because they were neither experienced nor knowledgeable in this challenging field. I didn't get the offer although the hiring manager told me the feedback he got was very positive when I left. Not surprisingly, the HR emailed a template reply to reject me after I inquired a few days later.
