May2026 I was contacted by a recruiter regarding a job opportunity. After discussing I shared my updated CV, notice period, salary expectations, and other details, multiple interview rounds were scheduled (3 technical rounds and 1 HR round).
I successfully cleared all the technical rounds and HR round was asked to submit the required documents. However, after completing the entire process, I was informed that I was not eligible for the role.
What disappointed me most was that the basic eligibility screening should have been completed before scheduling the interviews. As candidates, we invest significant time and effort in preparation, interviews, and documentation.
I would like to sincerely appreciate the technical panel—they were highly professional, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout the process. It was a pleasure interacting with such talented individuals.
My humble request to recruiters is to thoroughly screen candidates for eligibility before initiating the interview process. It helps avoid unnecessary time and effort for candidates and interview panel
