Briefly sat down with the manager and discussed job history, general workplace attitudes, and desired compensation. The interview was about as easy as could be expected for a restaurant. Very low key and casual. I was then hired on the spot and started relatively shortly thereafter.

I walked in between the dead hours of 2-4PM and asked for an application. The manager just so happened to be there and told me to fill it out and come back in two hours for an interview. I did and I was hired on the spot with no experience as a server.
