I had an in-person interview and got this opportunity via referral.
Round 1: Developing a news feed app with network awareness.
I was given 3 hours of time to built an app with tech requirement:
Kotlin, MVVM, Retrofit, Coroutines/Flow,
Room for caching,
Jetpack Compose/XML, Navigation,
Connectivity Manager for network.
Round 2: Technical Interview questions, will be given in the below interview questions (held for 1 hour).
I did not get selected for further rounds.

Question 1
Questions related to my current projects, previous round 1 news app, Android Basics:
Work Manager, Broadcast Receivers, Service, Proguard rules, Intent, Pending Intent, App Widgets, Room DB, Jetpack Compose.

Interview
The interview process included multiple stages: first, an online interview task, followed by an offline DSA test. Then, I had a technical round, another Android development-related task, and finally the HR round. Each stage was designed to assess different skills—problem-solving, coding ability, domain expertise, and communication.

The topics covered included Android basics, Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Jetpack Compose, various Jetpack libraries, and other concepts related to Android development. The questions tested both foundational knowledge and practical implementation skills. There was also a focus on architectural patterns, performance optimization, and real-world problem-solving scenarios within Android apps.
