The interview process was really nice! I applied for the position back in November 2024 and was invited to take a coding assessment in December 2024. Once I did that, it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. We scheduled an interview in mid-January and I received an offer 5 days later.
I had 2 interviews back-to-back, one with Cindy Bickel and Christina Lewandowski (Manager of Product Culture and Manager of Product Operations, respectively), and another with Jeremiah Smith, the Director of Software Engineering. They were all great interviewers and really made me feel at home.
Cindy and Christina took around 20 minutes with me, mainly asking about my resume and behavioral questions. I spent another 20 minutes with Jeremiah afterwards, where he asked more technical questions to gauge my experience (no actual coding questions though!).
Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to join Zotec this summer!
