I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zurich Insurance (Kuala Lumpur) in Nov 2022
Interview
Resume/Application Screening: The process often begins with a review of resumes or job applications submitted by candidates. Recruiters or hiring managers assess qualifications, skills, and relevant experience to create a shortlist of potential candidates. Initial Contact: The selected candidates are contacted for an initial screening. This may be done through email or a phone call. During this conversation, the recruiter may ask about your interest in the position, availability, and basic qualifications. Phone Interview: Some companies conduct phone interviews as a preliminary step to further narrow down the candidate pool. Phone interviews may involve discussing your background, skills, and a few behavioral or technical questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zurich Insurance (North Sydney) in Aug 2025
Interview
1. Psychometrics
2. Light Coding Questions (45 min)
3. One Way Interview (6 Questions)
Straight forward process. Psychometrics were akin to CBA's, two simple coding questions in your language of choice and around 6 one way interview questions with a 3 minute timer and a redo each.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A question asking "Why Zurich Insurance?" culture alignment and what you admire about their organization.
The recruiter was not fully present during the interview and never responded to my follow-up email about the process. Additionally, I was asked to provide personal documentation in the first interview, which felt inappropriate given how early it was in the process. Very poor candidate experience
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Zurich Insurance (Kuala Lumpur) in Feb 2025
Interview
It was okay and took me around 30 minutes to complete it. They ask more about the technical part and also my resume. Just make sure you understand well about your project and be confident.
