I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Zycus (Bengaluru) in Aug 2018
Interview
Two interviews have been held in total, first being telephonic screening and later introduced me for a panel of 4 + 1 hr, joined in webinar from Pune and Mumbai.
Except the frontend been asked everything else!
For UI Architect role as per the JD, one would expect to be touched upon the following areas and so I did brush up on the same :
- HTML
- CSS (responsiveness, media queries, flexbox)
- JS (es5, es6),
- Functional Programming, Object oriented programming in JS,
- AngularJS,
- Angular 2/4/5/6
- Design Patterns in UI
- Reactive Programming
- Unit testing
- Designing and architecting of any standard application like GMail, Facebook or Twitter(though I started off with, they couldn't discuss any further after my explanation)
The questions encountered are:
1. Diff b/n http 1 & http 1.1,
2. Service workers & PWA (just the keywords they know!)
3. Webpack
4. CDN
Well, with 4 senior interviewers panel sitting and not encountered any questions related to Front-end development was totally disappointing and waste of my time
