I had my first call scheduled for 30 minutes after applying. The interviewer was over 10min late for the call, she did send an email to inform me after passing a few minutes in the call, so i guess that was fine.
However, once she joined the call, she explained she had a few calls running late, hence the delay, and after a short introduction about herself and the role, i started to introduce myself as well. I noticed she was constantly moving slightly off camera and had a muffled voice. She explained she was not feeling well and suffering from allergies, which made it a bit difficult to understand her questions fully. I could tell she was not structured well, not focused fully as she struggled to figure out what questions to ask and rushing the call due to the delay.
I tried to be respectful of that and keep the call to the allocated time but in the end, post introduction and overview, the call lasted roughly 10 min with just 2 random questions which made it difficult for me to discuss relevant examples or cover what hands on experiences i can bring to the role.
After the call, i received no update for 10 days, and when i sent a few emails to request an update, i was send a rejection email.
I don't feel the process was professional enough in my opinion, I was not asked enough questions, nor given enough time to discuss my experience and no update for 10 days.
