Interview
This was a very long process and took about 9 weeks. Overall the interviews were easy and I had great conversations with everyone. Interviews were confirmed last minute, the role changed a couple times and the recruiter was always slow to reply. Once the final interviews were completed, they asked for references and they were ready to prepare an offer. It took a couple days for me to get references lined up and the recruiter completely ghosted me. He never reached out to my references, who set aside time to talk with him and then I was completely ghosted. It’s been over a month since providing my references and I haven’t heard from the recruiter or even received an automated email letting me know I’m not getting the job. I really hope this isn’t a normal candidate experience.

Interview
Terrible experience- starting with a rushed 30 minute prescreen Call where you are constantly rushed and cut off by the interviewer (We can call her L) followed by a ridiculously time consuming (5 hours – do at home and email back) assessment which I believe will be used as actual work content without the candidates knowledge. The testing prompts' content was far too extensive & specific to be generic. They were also not transparent at all of the time needed for the assessment and did not provide adequate time to complete. The prompt was to show your proficiency with G-suite and to follow particular guidelines with a high level of content inserting them into created google docs, spreadsheets, google forms, and creating a power point slide based off of notes. (You must already have a Gmail account to attempt this assessment, and if you don't have one, you need to make one) I found this to be very demanding , time consuming, and premature after just one 30 minute pre-screen call where I was rushed and not given a chance to fully ask my questions about the role. Overall, this experience has left me with a horrible impression of App Annie.

Interview
Senior Recruiter has no clue what they are doing. This is what happened. Had several phone interviews with recruiters only to be told a week later they went with another candidate. A week after that received an email saying the VP's would like to consider me again. After that no communication. THEN I get an email, after sending them several emails, saying they went with another candidate. Are these people children? You don't treat candidates like this!!!! Unprofessional and bad business practice. Don't waste your time. Lots of good professional companies out there looking for good people.
