After progressing through the full interview process, beginning with a People team screening, followed by two 1:1 conversations with the CEO, and individual meetings with each team lead, I received consistently positive feedback at every stage.
Throughout the process, there were several scheduling inconsistencies, including calendar invites sent with incorrect times and next-round invites scheduled without first confirming my availability. While understandable at times, it did contribute to an overall lack of coordination.
Following my final interview, there was then a two-week period of silence before I received an automated email indicating they would not be moving forward. Given the level of engagement throughout the process, that approach felt misaligned with the seniority of the role and somewhat unprofessional.
It also became apparent that, as an early-stage company, they are still refining their hiring process and executive candidate experience, and there appeared to be a lack of polish in how the overall process, particularly how the final decision was handled.
