Received LinkedIn invite from HR manager following application as my CV had LinkedIn details. Connected with HR. Held quick telephone call following a couple of messages back and forth. Discussed role, my experience and the company. Was really quite interesting and appealing.
Agreed interview in Manchester City Centre. Quite relaxed interview, typical standard approach. "Can you give me an example of...". Very sales orientated role, targets, targets, etc.
I was told they're looking to appoint asap, so should hear by the end of the week/ early the following week. Didn't hear anything for a week+. Decided to contacted HR for an update and was told they're still interviewing? (Not what I was told in the interview).....a following 2/3 weeks later, still not heard anything?! It isn't sour grapes but considering I took time out of my day (annual leave), travelled for an interview etc, it's not too much to ask for a regular update/ final outcome of an interview? Pretty poor really.
