I applied online. I interviewed at eGlobal Creative Publishing (Singapore) in July 2024
Interview
I was contacted to update my email and was given a translator test of about 3 light novel abstracts. It was sent via email as a word document and I was given a 72 hour timeline. The emails were efficient.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The novels are often historical fiction, meaning there are a lot of olden Chinese language and many hierarchal titles.
Standard interview describing your background and what not. Waited about ten minutes to tell me the position wasn't paid. This was after telling me they wanted 2k words a day. So, basically, don't bother to put in the time for an interview if you're seeking compensation for your work.
