I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at iHeartMedia (New York, NY) in July 2019
Interview
I had two in person interviews, after a two hour commute, the first interview ended up only being 10 minutes long. I met with two interviewees who were nice and I got along with very well. A few days later, I was contacted by their supervisor to come in for a second interview. Because of my schedule conflicts, iHeart held the hiring process until I was able to come in. I was given an exercise to complete before the second interview (that was rescheduled for the following week) where I met with three interviewees to discuss the exercise as well as more details about the position. The interview went really well and again, I loved everyone I spoke to. I was told I would get a call within the next week, but a week and a half went by and heard nothing. I reached out to them and was told they wanted to schedule a phone call (that was rescheduled indefinitely.) I reached out again a week later and received a call within a few days where I was offered the position to start as soon as possible. One week later (two weeks before I was supposed to start) I received an email and follow up call from HR saying that due to budget cuts my offer for this job after a month long process had been rescinded and that was that. I was disappointed that after this whole process where I was asked multiple times how early I could start that the company went through with the hiring process knowing their budget may not pass. Unfortunately, looking back the whole process seemed unorganized.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at iHeartMedia (New York, NY) in Nov 2018
Interview
About a week after my application was submitted, I got a call to schedule an interview. There were about 3 days between the call and the interview. I was told I would find out about the role by the end of that week but did not hear back for about 2 weeks.
