I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at iHerb in Mar 2018
Interview
Short and ineffective. Incompetent managers and supervisors. You waste your time talking to them. They hire them for so many reasons other than being professional competent employee. There's no growth opportunities inside the company. You can escape the incompetent leaders but you can't grow them.
As a growing company, there is always room for improvement. iHerb is committed to enhancing learning and development opportunities for all of our employees, including our managers and leaders. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at iHerb (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
I'm very conflicted about iHerb and the interview process. iHerb seemed like an amazing company to work for and the people working for them made me excited to join the team. The process was initially great. The HR recruiter communicated quickly and effectively for all steps of the process. I went through 3 interviews (one with the hiring manager, the head of another department, and the project manager I would be taking some of the work load from). I felt I did great by the reactions and sentiment from my interviewers, especially the last interview with the project manager, who said I would be her recommendation for the role.
Fast forward several weeks later, I haven't heard anything. I reached by email 3-4 times to the HR recruiter with no response. These were direct emails, not to job specific email or generic HR email. I'm just very surprised to be ghosted after 3 rounds of interviews. I understand if that may happen very early in the process, but after committing so much of my time to prep and interview, the least they could do is tell me they went in another direction instead of being left in limbo.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to manage conflicting priorities with upper management or investors and how did you handle it.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at iHerb (Pasadena, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Scam Global Logistics leadership. They hire and fire very easily! they are experimenting with leadership. They need so much training before they qualify to be leaders. They hire them very cheap and they destroy the business. The director in the global logistics is the worst ever. Deceitful and disrespectful. She's the worst director I've ever seen. She protects her incompetent supervisors because she's incompetent herself and because they all belong to the same ethnicity. They fire everybody who doesn't belong to the same ethnicity like them.
