The people are very easy-going and friendly. As long as you match their energy and engage naturally in the conversation, you should do just fine. Be prepared to answer a few pop culture questions, share your opinions, and talk confidently about yourself, your interests, and your experiences.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at iSpot.tv in Sept 2025
Interview
Reasonable interview process. No leetcode or any other gotchas. Just expect you to be a critical thinker. They were nice and company culture seems good... they seem to care more about the work you do rather than hours and are good with remote work.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at iSpot.tv (Seattle, WA) in Sept 2025
Interview
It was a great process. I had a recruiter screen, followed by meeting with a few team members from engineering, HR and project management leadership. Every one of them was very friendly, told me a lot about iSpot in the product, as well as what their expectations of the role. The recruiter had told me everything had been going well and the feedback was positive.
I also had a discussion with the Head of Engineering / CTO and seems things went downhill. It was an intense discussion, many questions around very specific details of my job and role. He also went into his expectations for success. Overall the conversation left me with a feeling it was going to be an intense work environment, a little different then with all other previous interviewers. While I understand I have a job to do I felt myself feeling less excited about the opportunity.
Shortly after this chat the recruiter reached out letting me know they were moving on to other candidates.
