The first call was more of a casual conversation than a technical interview. We discussed my work history, motivations, and skills. Nice guy. But when I got to the technical exam, the people who handled this portion of the process could not seem to be any less interested in moving my application forward. I was asked for my Github account to get access to the exam materials. I had to follow up one week later because they just totally ignored my email. The exam itself was easy. I finished it in less than a day. I notified them of my submission in two ways: through email and a pull request review. I got radio silence from them for 2 weeks until they emailed me saying I was eliminated from the pool for not turning in my submission. It felt like they wanted to be actively pursued every step of the way and I had no energy for that. Total waste of time.
