      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at jjFOX (Truro, England) in Feb 2018

      Interview

a telephone interview, then a 30 minute one-on-one personal interview, then a 30 minute two-on-one presentational interview where they scrutinised my CV line by line, then an interview with the CEO. The whole thing seemed very toxic, they were open about expecting employees to devote their life to the work, working well past their contracted hours. I was asked to do a presentation about any topic, I picked the environment as I am passionate about it, then the two men laughed and joked about how little they care about the subject for 30 minutes.

      Recruitment Consultant Interview

      17 July 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

      I interviewed at jjFOX

      Interview

4 stages. Telephone interview, a day group interview. Interview with some of the directors. Final interview with the big bosses. I recommend anyone who has an interview to withdraw from the process! It's far too much hassle for a starting salary of £15,000. Yes you can earn big money, but that's if you work 6 days a week doing 12 hour days. They will only care for you if you are billing! Which lets be honest, probably 5% of there employees do to earn good money. Dress code is over the top, apparently you can't bring your own lunch to your desk, unless it's bought at pasty shop or equivalent! Interview process was hard and they don't hold back. Rude and ignorant. Don't waste your breath with this company you'll be treated as a number and you'll have no social life.
