I applied via Linked In. The role was Marketing Coordinator for Ultra Cuisine. Someone reached out to me with a long, extensive email accompanied by a case study as the first round of the interview process. I completed the case study which consisted of 3 parts that took at least 4 hours to complete. I was contacted by the same person that I would receive a response the following day. He reached out again saying he was running behind and would review the following day. I didn't hear anything for a week and sent a friendly follow up email with no response. Followed up one more time 3 weeks later. It is rude and inconsiderate to require such an extensive interview project as part ONE of the interview and then not bother responding at all. Covid-19 has a lot of people out of work and looking for jobs, to put in that much work and then receive not even a courtesy response is unprofessional and shows a lack of empathy.
